Official Rules

The Alyeska Snow Classic is a gaming fundraiser for Four Valleys Community School, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Girdwood, Alaska. Winner(s) are determined by correctly guessing what the exact snow accumulation at the Alyeska Snow Classic Measuring Stick on Mount Alyeska is in Girdwood, Alaska. All participants are required to provide proof that they are 18 years and older. The total snow measurement from the base of the measuring stick is taken by a neutral party on the publicized date. The measurement is to the nearest 100th of a foot. The winner(s) are to be notified after the measurement is taken.  If a person does not guess the exact measurement the next closest guess below the official measurement will be the winner.  Their names are to be announced in May each year we hold the event.

All tickets are numbered and accounted for. Each ticket has the following information printed on it:

Prize:

One prize is awarded equally to the winner(s) who guess the exact snow accumulation depth at the Alyeska Snow Classic Measuring Stick located at 1096 ft elevation.

If no ticket is found to have the exact measurement, then the closest guess below the exact measurement wins. In the case of multiple winners, the prize will be divided equally among the winners. The prize money (total ticket sales) is split 50/50 with Four Valleys Community School, Inc. and the winner(s). Payment will be by check made out to the winner(s). All decisions made by Alyeska Snow Classic are final.

This notification process begins with the reading of what the snow accumulation is at the Alyeska Snow Classic Measurement Stick on a specific day (April 28, 2023 approximate) at the end of ski season in April each year.  Winners names will be officially announced by May 6, 2023.  Failure for winner(s) to respond regarding winnings by June 20, 2023 will result in return of winnings to Alyeska Snow Classic.
